Pink Sighting Buoys!
The team have been busy this winter upgrading the 400metre swimming loop with Pink Sighting Buoys. Now bigger and brighter to help you with your straight line swimming!
Why purchase a Defibrillator?
A defibrillator is a device that gives a high energy electric shock to the heart of someone who is in cardiac arrest. This high energy shock is called defibrillation, and it's an essential part in trying to save the life of someone who's in cardiac arrest.
Whether you want to try Open Water Swimming for the first time, improve your technique or train for an event, come along to Sibson Lake and join other like minded people on the water.
These sessions are open to all swimmers aged 12+ who are able to swim the 400 metre course unaided and are confident in open water. Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult in the water at all times. You can swim on a Wednesday evening from 5:00pm - 7:00pm and Saturday morning from 7:30am - 9:30am between May to September. £6.00 for each swim.
Please note: This facility only has basic changing facilities, no showers. What to bring: - Brightly coloured swim hat - Swim tow buoy - Wetsuit (if the water is above 15 degrees, a wetsuit is optional)
